Some of you might have wondered what Paani is? It’s Palm Syrup, made from sweet toddy. Seems like an alternative for the much more famous Maple Syrup. Paani and Pazham were served as a dessert in Kerala Wedding after the meals. The sweet Palm syrup is poured over a Pazham and we mash it with our hands. The sweet tangy flavoured dessert enlightens your taste buds for sure.
